Midway through shooting this video, an unknown car with tinted windows pulled up beside us. We all nervously stood there wondering who it was. The driver’s seat window slowly rolled down and a man looked at us and said “Y’all know what happened at this building?!” We all looked confused, then without hesitation he blurts out “NIGGAS GOT SHOT AT OVER HERE!” He laughed, shook his head, and drove off.
That wasn’t enough to stop us. Making this video took a lot of moving parts. I knew I wanted to make a parody of this song ever since it came out. This specific idea for it came to me last year. I had the song recorded in November of 2023. The visuals took much longer to get done. Shoutout to everyone involved in making this possible.
I wanna continue to make dope stuff. It might take some time, but that’s ok. Good things come to those who wait. Right?
