(REN•WAH)Chris Renois is a rising voice in the comedy scene, with the kind of effortless cool and insight that calls back to the early days of Dave Chappelle and DL Hughley, equal parts intellect, instinct, and heart. A Miami native who recently made the move to New York, Chris brings a laid-back charm and charisma shaped by both cities’ rhythms.
With a clear point of view, he unpacks culture, identity, and the everyday absurdities of life in ways that feel both deeply personal and universally true. Chris has been a semi-finalist on Stand-Up NBC, performed a filmed set for LMAOF (OFTV), and was selected for the 2023 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.
In 2025, he took home second place in the inaugural Don’t Tell Comedy contest and has opened for comedians including Michelle Buteau, Hasan Minhaj, and Nick Griffin. His acting debut in the indie film Mountains premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, where it received a Special Jury Mention for U.S. Narrative Feature. Whether on stage or on screen, Chris continues to establish himself as one of comedy's most exciting emerging talents.
